And rewriting, rewriting, rewriting.
Right now, I'm rewriting (from scratch) my climax for the fifth time. Hopefully, this time I will end up with something that comes close to the grandeur in my head.
Whoever thinks writing a novel means scratching out a first draft and becoming a New York Time's Bestseller obviously never tried.
I love my characters and my story, but too much of a good thing is...just that.
But I know it will be worth it.
If you are rewriting or editing, what parts of your story have proved the hardest? Have you rewritten any scenes from scratch? How many times?
